I believe everyone’s path to healing should be designed differently because human beings are unique and complex. One size fits all just doesn’t work when it comes to healing. So I use a customized and collaborative treatment style. My approach is warm, empathetic, sprinkled with a little bit of humor and focused on how to get you to where you want to be. I’m here to listen. I provide a safe place to talk about difficult things and I genuinely care about helping others.
I use scientific and evidence based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, EMDR, and Trauma informed modalities in a non-judgmental way. I help individuals figure out how their past could be affecting the present and even holding them back. The tools I teach can be life changing and help you to better cope with the challenges that life throws your way.
During these sessions I will listen and get to know you. You have a safe place to vent out any frustrations and worries that you are feeling. I can also guide you through certain interventions that can reduce anxiety and rewire your brain into healthier more adaptive thought patterns. I sometimes assign fun projects to do in between sessions to further help you get to where you want to be emotionally.
